The Decor: Straight Out of Dublin

The Irish pub atmosphere hits you before you even walk in: a big gold crown logo crowns the facade above the “GRAFTON STREET PUB” sign, and the deep green double doors with gold lettering feel imported straight from Ireland.

Inside, it’s all exposed brick, warm wood, a pressed-tin ceiling, and walls of twinkling fairy lights mixed with vintage Guinness signage. There’s even a hidden speakeasy tucked in the back for a moodier drink. Every corner is photogenic without trying too hard — it feels authentic, not theme-parky.

The Bar: An Authentic Pub Without the Flight

The bar itself is the showpiece: dark green walls, a sweeping marble counter, glowing back-bar shelves stocked floor to ceiling, crystal chandeliers, and a striking peacock artwork watching over it all. Pull up one of the green velvet stools and you could be on Grafton Street in Dublin — no passport required.

It’s a full bar with cocktails, wine, and of course a proper Guinness pour. The pub also hosts live music, has outdoor patio seating, and is dog friendly — easy to see why it’s become a neighborhood gathering spot.

What We Ate

The menu is classic Irish gastropub with some creative twists, and the presentation genuinely is a work of art.

Gourmet Grilled Cheese with Tomato Bisque ($16) — my order, and the standout. Gruyère and Irish cheddar with chili-infused honey on perfectly golden, crispy bread, paired with a rich tomato bisque topped with sour cream and toasted breadcrumbs. Comfort food elevated.

Caprese Pesto Flatbread (from $15) — my guest’s pick, topped with chicken, basil pesto, grape tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, arugula, and a balsamic reduction drizzle. Beautiful to look at, even better to eat — they were equally pleased.

We also got a look at the St. James Three-Onion Soup — beef broth, caramelized onions, and a molten cap of Gruyère and provolone. A must for soup lovers.

Elsewhere on the menu: Grafton Wings ($16), Shepherd’s Pie ($18), Fish & Chips ($19), pretzel sticks with beer cheese ($13.95), and desserts like key lime pie ($9) and New York cheesecake ($12).

What we loved: the transportive Irish decor, a bar that feels straight out of Dublin, delicious food with beautiful presentation, and service that’s as friendly as it gets.

What to know going in: it’s popular, so expect a wait at peak times without a reservation. That’s really the only caveat.
