Colorado Fondue Company Casselberry Review: Fondue Night, Ski-Lodge Style
If you love the idea of the Melting Pot but not the bill, let me introduce you to the Colorado Fondue Company in Casselberry. It’s a fantastic alternative: less expensive, with its own twist on the format, and every bit as fun. We had a deliciously fun evening here, and it’s a place I’d happily bring family or friends back to. Here’s our honest review.

How It Works: Fondue With a Twist
The format will feel familiar if you’ve done fondue before, with one delicious difference:
- Cheese course — classic dipping-style fondue, just like you’d expect.
- Main course — instead of hot oil or broth, your meats cook on a very hot stone right at the table. It sears beautifully and it’s genuinely fun to do yourself.
- Chocolate course — back to classic dipping-style fondue for dessert.

The Food: Delicious Start to Finish
Everything we had was delicious. The evening flows as a series of courses, and each one delivers.
We started with soup and warm bread rolls, plus a fresh salad — simple, well done, and a nice light opening before the indulgence begins.

Then the cheese fondue arrived, with a generous spread of dippers. There’s something about a bubbling pot of cheese in the middle of the table that makes everyone happy.

The hot stone course is the showpiece: steak, chicken, and shrimp (plus a few extras like ravioli) that you sear yourself on the screaming-hot stone. It cooks fast, tastes fantastic, and it’s interactive in the best way — half the fun is playing chef at your own table.

And then chocolate. A pot of melted chocolate with strawberries, marshmallows, banana slices, pretzels, and cake bites for dipping. No notes. Just order it.

The Staff: Friendly and Attentive
The staff here are very friendly — welcoming from the moment you walk in, happy to explain how the courses work, and attentive without hovering. For a meal that stretches over a couple of hours, that kind of easygoing service matters, and they nail it.
The Decor: A Colorado Ski Lodge in Central Florida
This is my favorite part. Inside and out, the place looks like a Colorado ski lodge — wood beams and posts, warm glowing lights, rustic touches everywhere, even the wooden sign out front. Having lived in Colorado myself, it genuinely took me back. It’s cozy, it’s charming, and it makes the whole evening feel like a little getaway.
